A Misleading Lure

A misleading and seductive lure in the online ease of use filmmaking that is extremely disturbing is the promises and offerings of cheap templates, sample budgets and other such websites offering users a film budget for “$99 Dollars!”.

In 25 years of filmmaking, I have never had a financier say to me “Just get me a cheap template for your movie budget.  I don’t need real numbers”.  It doesn’t happen.
