Norwegian Love Story ‘Dreams’ Wins Berlinale’s Golden Bear

‘Dreams’ by Director Dag Johan Haugerud has taken the top prize at the Berlin Film Festival 2025. Film rounds out a trilogy for the director. Rose Byrne wins Best Actor Award for ‘If I had Legs, I’d Kick You’. Andrew Scott took the top prize for Supporting Actor for his role in Richard Linklaters’ ‘Blue Moon’ starring Ethan Hawke.

Widely respected and actively working actor Willem Defoe will receive an Honorary Golden Bear. A retrospective of his work will be screened including ‘The Hunter’ following the award ceremony at the Berlinale Palast on Feb. 20th.
